Ways You Can Help Our Work
Gifts to the Institute Are Tax Deductible*

Cash Gifts | |
Outright gifts of cash
are the simplest and most effective way to help our fledgling
organization. We are spreading our message of tolerance and fresh thinking
while well-funded organizations work overtime in areas such as employment to limit individual choice
and maintain the status quo. Focus on the Family, just one
of many such groups, alone took in almost $111 million in
1998. We don't expect a level playing field, but we need your
help to have any chance of success. Click here to become a part of
our family of supporters
and help us make the world a place where all who love can hold their heads
up proudly.

Company Matching Gifts
You may be able to double
the value of your gift to the Institute through company matching gift
programs. Many employers will match gifts made by employees and/or
retirees to qualifying charitable organizations. Ask your personnel
office about any such programs your employer may offer.

Gifts of Appreciated Property
There are many tax
advantaged ways to support our work through gifts of appreciated property
such as real estate, stocks, collectibles, and the like. We can help
you and your tax adviser develop a mutually beneficial plan that could
increase your current income, reduce taxes, provide for heirs, and make a
surprisingly significant gift in support of our effort to preserve
individual choice in intimate relations. Contact us at the address
and phone number below to discuss these opportunities.

Speak, Write, Teach, Communicate
We also need support from individuals who are able to serve as positive representatives of alternative relationships, whether to news media, in a religious or community forum, in a letter to the editor, etc. We also need friends with recognized credentials in a relevant professional discipline to assist in our work, serve on our Advisory Council, conduct or direct research, assist with raising the needed resources, write for our newsletter, and generally lend credibility to our organization. Click here to tell us you're able to help.
* For individual tax filers who itemize federal income tax deductions, a cash donation to a public charity is fully deductible up to 50% of the taxpayer's adjusted gross income (AGI). Special rules may apply to certain non-cash donations and to contributions not made by individuals; consult your tax adviser. |
